These terms cover AionJanis's BDO Loot Tracker (“the app”) and this website. They're between you and the BDO Loot Tracker team (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.
The short version
- The app is free to use for your own play.
- It reads your drop logs from the screen and never touches the game.
- Silver figures are estimates built on outside market data.
- It's a fan project, not affiliated with Pearl Abyss.
- It's provided as is, without a warranty.
Using the app
The app is free. Install it on your own PCs and use it for your own play, streams and videos, including sharing your Loot Cards and screenshots.
Download it only from our GitHub releases page or this website, so you know you have the real app. Please don't sell it, bundle it with other software or share modified copies as if they were ours.
How it works with the game
The app reads pixels on your screen: your drop logs, plus the Get-All loot window when you're hunting. It never reads game memory, injects into or hooks the game, or captures network traffic.
You're responsible for how you use the app, including following Black Desert's own terms.
Estimates, not promises
Silver values use market prices from outside sources and can be out of date. Counts come from reading your screen, so now and then one can be off; counts the app isn't sure of are marked ≈ for you to check.
Treat the numbers as a guide to your play, not as an accounting record.
A beta that keeps changing
The app is in beta. Features can change, move or be removed between versions. We may update the app, or stop working on it, at any time.
Not affiliated with Pearl Abyss
This is a fan project. Black Desert, its item names and its artwork belong to Pearl Abyss, and the app shows them only so you can recognise your loot. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pearl Abyss.
Other services
The app and this website rely on services we don't run: market prices from arsha.io and Pearl Abyss, spot data and gear info from Garmoth and BDO Codex, downloads and updates from GitHub, and our community on Discord. They have their own terms, and we can't promise they'll always be available. The Privacy Policy lists what the app sends to each one.
No warranty
The app and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss from using the app or being unable to use it, including lost silver, in-game items, data or access to your game account. For anything else, our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app, which is nothing.
Some places don't allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we'll announce bigger changes in Discord. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
